Chamfering at the Monadnock

CHAMFER: A beveled edge, usually cut at a 45 degree angle, connecting two surfaces.

One South Dearborn

Compare the soft chamfered corner formed out of carefully chiseled  bricks on the Monadnock building with the extraordinarily hard angled corner on the One South Dearborn building.
